Upload files to sourceforge. Use the following naming convention: sumwars-{version}[-suffix#]-{OSSuffix}
- {version} is the release version number like 0.5.5
- [-suffix#] is an optional release type specification of the following defined types. It can be accompanied by an integer number directly following the suffix to specify separate releases of the same type.
  -alpha
  an early alpha release
  -beta
  a beta release
  -pre
  prerelease
  -rc
  release candidate
  (none)
  standard stable release
  -p
  patched release
- {OSSuffix} describes the remainder of the filename depending on the operating system and distribution type.

Create a dummy file with the same name in sumwars.org/downloads/
Create a release page with the title {version}[-suffix#] Release.
easy way: duplicate current 0.5.6 Release or 0.5.6 Release page and update it.
Update Template:Stable or Template:Testing accordingly.
Write a news announcement and put it on the Main Page.
Update project versions in MantisBT when a stable release has been done.
